EMS USA Corrosion & Integrity Services Business Unit Hires Nigel Strike
Houston, TX, March 19, 2008 – EMS USA a North American provider of operations and maintenance services to the energy industry, announced that Nigel Strike has been appointed as Operations Manager of the Corrosion & Integrity Services Business Unit. Strike will oversee and manage the day-to-day operation and business development activities in the U.S. Central Region.
According to Tony Rizk, EMS’s Vice President of Corrosion & Integrity Services, “Nigel is a great asset to our team. We are poised to significantly grow our Corrosion & Integrity Services Business Unit, and Nigel brings both hands-on and management skills to the team.”
Strike brings strong technical expertise. He is a NACE-Certified Senior Corrosion Technologist and an NCCER-Certified Operator Qualification Evaluator for 38 USDOT covered tasks. Nigel is a member of NACE International, the Institute of Corrosion (ICORR), and the American Society for Non-Destructive Testing (ASNT). He has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Chemistry.
Strike has worked for several large corrosion and integrity service providers and has a solid reputation in the pipeline industry. He has managed projects for Kinder Morgan, Atmos, Northern Natural Gas, BP, and Houston Pipeline Company to name a few.
