EMS USA Corrosion & Integrity Services Business Unit Hires
Bryan Evans

Houston, TX, March 19, 2008 – Officials at EMS are pleased to announce the expansion in its Corrosion & Integrity Services Business Unit in the Atlanta Region.

The unit will be managed by Bryan Evans, a seasoned corrosion professional with more than 10 years of experience in the corrosion industry. 

Evans brings a strong technical background.  He is a NACE CP Specialist and is NCCER and Veriforce OQ certified. Evans is a member of NACE International, and holds a BS in Civil Engineering Technology. 

According to Tony Rizk, EMS’s Vice President of Corrosion & Integrity Services, “We are thrilled to have Bryan on our team; he has been with us less than ten days and has already achieved success by hiring key corrosion experts including Shelly Andrews, Rachel Bankston, Vince Deese, James Hamilton, and Karen Dodson in the Atlanta area.  The corrosion industry has recognized his immediate achievements and responded in a positive manner”.

The team’s credentials include:

  • Vince Deese – BS Industrial Engineering Technology, 13 years corrosion experience, NACE CP Technologist, Veriforce & NCCER OQ
  • James Hamilton – 4 years CP construction experience as a foreman, Veriforce and NCCER OQ certified, OSHA competent person for excavations
  • Shelly Andrews – BS, sales/marketing experience, 3 years in corrosion sales, completed NACE Basic Corrosion course
  • Rachel Bankston – 10 years in corrosion industry completed NACE Basic Corrosion course, sales and corrosion materials

Evans and his team have provided corrosion services for: El Paso, Marathon, Florida Gas Transmission, Florida Power & Light, Colonial Pipeline, TECO (People’s Gas), NAVFAC, Orlando Utilities Commission, Dominion Power and Progress Energy to name a few.
